As The Nights Draw In...
We are so lucky here in our little corner of England as we have some of the mildest weather in the UK which included basking in the warmest Halloween since records began. We can also take advantage of some great photo opportunities in the late afternoon as the sun sets and the sky turns multicoloured! Even in the colder months, we have many guests who come to enjoy the coastal walks and get their fix of sea air.
We have plenty of unique sights to enjoy along the way with wonderful pit stops that you can only find here in Thanet including the delicious Harbour Chocolate Lounge which you can read all about if you click on this link. More recent additions to Ramsgate include, The Arches Bar (aptly named as it is in one of the iconic Royal Harbour arches!). This link from 'No expert' gives an overview of some of the other newcomers who have joined our happy band of independent businesses including Vinyl Head in Addington Street and Flavours By Kumar in Effingham Street.
Remember too our Ramsgate Town website shows all the latest walks and events for you to enjoy such as the Viking Boat Burning Event that took place last night - here's a little video of the Viking Boat Burning (courtesy of Isle of Thanet Gazette) which was a small celebration to welcome the winter months!
