The Rock Doc is back!

The Rock Doc is back!

As the heading suggests, the Rock Doc is back in town! Dr Alasdair Bruce heads up one of his guided walks through 80 million years of our coastline history starting at Pegwell Bay tomorrow at 11am. The tour takes about 1 1/2 hours and sets out to explain our chalk cliffs and the flints and fossils you can find on the beach (if you know where to look and the Rock Doc does)  The photo includes some of my finds on dog walks between Ramsgate Sands and Dumpton Gap, the 'fossil' at the back is the first known Prehistoric Cadbury's Creme Egg. . If you want to find out about tomorrow's walk or other dates, click on the following link http://www.visitthanet.co.uk/attractions/rock-doc-walks/11093  Entry is free just wear suitable footwear for the beach and be over 14.
